If your objective is to perform an efficient e3000 migration, you
cannot avoid taking some features of MPE with you. This is where
MPUX fits in.
MPUX
supplies required MPE services on top of the target operating system.
This includes support for jobs, file systems, users and accounts
and much more.
An important benefit of MPUX is that this happens transparently:
migrated applications are never isolated from the native operating
environment.
